Need help with an assignment for music appreciation class, relating to classic genres? Please help?

I am in a music appreciation class and I know nothing about music:( it
was a must to graduate with the correct amount of credits. Please
help, anything will be appreciated! This class is online so I have no
instructor to teach, its all self guided.

The assignment is "discuss two classic genres giving two good examples
and one bad from each, explain your reasoning" please help
