Spike Lee's Oldboy Will Feature New Elements, Figures to 'Throw In the Audience'
Oldboy producer Roy Lee recently seeping some vague particulars on Spike Lee’s Josh Brolin-starring remake, promising a “darker” retelling of Park Chan-wook’s Korean thriller also modified within the original manga. “It’s very similar, but we’ve added new elements. Or, Mark Protosevich has develop new elements in it that will screw up everyone else who've seen the first movie because you will discover new figures and new situations that promote themselves with techniques that changes the story but eventually use the identical direction.” Sure, Spike.
