Peter Bart to host 'Movie Talk' skein

Bart"Movie Talk," a film-centric interview program hosted by Variety's Peter Bart, bows this week in the U.S. and 80 foreign markets. "Talk" is produced by Bart and Lyndy Saville for London-based distrib 3DD, with 3DD chief exec Dominic Saville serving as exec producer. The half-hour skein airs on KNBC following "Saturday Night Live," and on cabler Encore. Initial guests include thesps George Clooney, Charlize Theron, Kenneth Branagh, Gary Oldman and helmer Stephen Daldry. Bart, editorial director of Variety, previously co-hosted with Peter Guber the KNBC/Encore series "In the House" since 2009. The duo also had a six-year run as hosts of AMC's "Sunday Morning Shootout." International outlets for "Movie Talk" include Sundance channels in Canada and Europe.
