Bryan Lourd Joins LACMA Board of Trustees
Bryan Lourd is joining the board of LACMA. The CAA partner, along with Lyn Davis Lear and Crescent Capital founder/Milwaukee Brewers owner Mark Attanasio, will be the newest members on 64-member board.our editor recommendsCAA's Bryan Lourd confirms talks of stake buyKim Kardashian part of LACMA makeover In a statement, LACMA's CEO Michael Govan, said the three new members have "unique and significant experience from the worlds of entertainment or sports, as well as a passion for the arts and the community." Lourd is also on the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities. In the past few years there's been a shift to add more LACMA board members from the Westside -- and all that represents -- than from downtown. Terry Semel co-chairs the board. Willow Bay is one of the five vice chairs. Board members include Brian Grazer, Michael Lynton, Carole Bayer Sager, Barbra Streisand and Steve Tisch. "This is part of Michael bringing a whole new freshness to the museum," says board member Wendy Stark. "We should have Hollywood people who collect art on the board.
